401 response code on ping #263

I have not been able to stay connected for longer than half an hour for the last few days. The console shows repeated failures of the ping endpoint with a 401 and no further information:

This happens around 15 times, and then my characters are set to sleep, though I am not logged out.

(Firefox/LibreWolf, Ubuntu 22.04)

This was fixed by logging all the way out and back in. Perhaps I was in some strange half-logged-in state?
