Which Linux Distro? #18

Hi guys,

as there is no discussion forum for this repo, I will ask here for some support. Hope this is fine.

Which Linux Distro do you run on your Minisforum V3? Which one works the best out of the box? Some years ago, before I switched to Mac OSx, I´ve been a heavy Arch Linux user. Is this one a good choice?

arch works fine mostly ootb, just make sure to implement #10 and all of the other fixes in this repo.

any distro that isn't severely (half a year or more) out of date in packages should work more or less the same, remember that 8840U is still pretty new hardware and installing something older (like debian stable/ubuntu 22.04 etc based distributions) you will encounter potentially severe flickering due to issues in old unpatched mesa/kernel GPU drivers etc.

Yeah, it worked for me with minimal setup. KDE provides a gui to set it up but you can use the command line as well.
