for now i did a test bump on  guymager-0.5.7_beta1.ebuild
guymager-0.7.3.ebuild  but havent had a run at building it yet. (it would suck 
if the ebuild needs rebuilt totally.) 

hopefully it proves useful....
ZeroChaos/blshkv have R/W accesses to the repo , 

I'll likely drop the repo if it's taken.

right, so your ebuild is totally broken.

The upstream does not release an archive with the source code. Instead, they 
provide a compiled .deb file which seems require an outdated libewf (2010) and 
has an outdated API. It will conflict with other tools.

So we need a totally new ebuild which would pull the source using a release 
TAG, an ebuild for "libguytools" and probably a patch to make it work with 
newer libewf API.

It seems the source code and few minor patches are available via debian:

but the tool is broken.

It fails to run here due to some kind of memory corruption.

so  upstream issues... , but for build time,  its /app-forensics/libewf  its 
missing a patch.... 

I used Clean vm to mess with these,  

I was able to build almost all the guymager libs.... just qmake each damb pro 
irritating... 

I nearly got a full build on the newer guymager's 

however they required "***HOTWIRING***" headers , as their isn't code for 
Gentoo that aligns well, perhaps for a Debian box...  , to place them in the 
folders for headers @ install time.... or cd corectly for header some need to 
use the set-ver sh 
and or opt for the alt-pro over the static pro...

I have no idea what you are talking about. libewf-2013041 compiles fine here. 
Please sync pentoo overlay (i've pushed all ebuilds) and post build.log instead 
of some useless source code.
