Gentoo operation already has it on the bugs
Anyhow , there are 2 SSH honeypots , ones better than none , your call.
my ebuild foo is weak. I figured it might be worth a go but if it's junk...
i'll leave it.

ok, so there is a fork of it.
Could you try the ebuild from the bug
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=460066
and let me know if it works?
I didn't want to develop an ebuild for a dead project but the fork seems ok.
Also, have you tried Kippo? Is kojoney better?

After 5 min of googling, I'd vote for Kippo.
"inspired by kojoney", "easy to setup", "better logging" etc.
also, they have tested it under Gentoo:
https://code.google.com/p/kippo/wiki/KippoOnLinux
You can test an ebuild from the vaca overlay:
https://code.google.com/p/gentoo-vaca-overlay/source/browse/trunk/net-analyzer/k
ippo
