Currently, when people enter a currency symbol in the "amount" field, hitting "submit" will lead to a nondescript error.
The error message should be clearer, and ideally "usual mistakes" (like providing a € currency symbol) should simply be filtered/ignored.
Especially once we allow 3rd parties to fill out the proposal form themselves, this will lead to more problems.
