I have created a "NarratorUpdateJavaSecurity.jar" file to do this. You need to
copy
the file into "<JREHOME>\lib\security" and run it. I could not create one which
automatically finds <JREHOME> because there could be multiple <JREHOME>s,all
of
which might not be referred to by any system variables.
"NarratorUpdateJavaSecurity.jar" is attached to this issue.

So, I guess we need a few simple steps for users to install this and find
JREHOME. I
guess this is a major barrier to widespread use. Can we brainstorm other ways
of
avoiding this issue?

Agreed it is a bummer. Nuwan do you have any creative solutions?
Could we provide a one time "installer" which checks the paths and folders and
assures or modifies the environment to meet our expectations?
It only saves one step, bu tit is a big step.

Based on our discussion of 4/19, Nuwan said he would create a desktop version,
which
would check if there is a more recent version available on line and download it
only
in that case. This would require a first time installation, but the user would
not
have to modify their security privileges. Another benefit is that subsequent
download
times would be faster as we don;t need to download the app every time.
Nuwan - please think about how this interacts with the ability to send people
URLs
for individual Narratives.
