Hexadecimal numbers in colour configuration #333

Hi,

I've attached a patch containing an additonal way of setting colours
in the configuration files.

In addition to the RGB triples:

191,191,191

You can define colours like:

#ff00ff

Implemented by going a bit further and unifying the colour parsing for options 
and control sequences, in r1273 on trunk.
