Bufferless reversals #19

Not sure if this is the right place to be making feature requests, but it would be fantastic to have bufferless reversals. Or, if that's not possible, it would be very helpful if the buffer window didn't shrink at higher framerates.

More oganized than my discord DMs I appreciate that bufferless would be cool, have thought about it before. Any source on fps affecting buffer frames? I don't notice anything and I'm sure this would have come up in the past.

I unfortunately don't remember who it was who told me about it, it could've been Percival, but cursory testing seems to confirm to me that the buffer window is much longer at 60fps than 120+. At 165fps, trying to reverse anything out of DT, calibur, double down, etc. seems to require the inputs to be made much closer to the end of the move than at 60fps. I might be able to get some footage showing it.

Purely based on feeling, it gives me the sense that the game's buffer window is counted in frames rather than seconds, and the window at 165fps is less than half as long as it is at 60fps. It's anecdotal, but I'm able to chain reverse caliburs indefinitely at 60fps, where I'm lucky if I can pull off 2 in a row at 165fps.

This is kind of embarassing. On reviewing old footage where I can see my inputs as well as trying again, I think it was purely placebo.

I guess I might have wanted to change my request to "extend the buffer window on most moves", but all things considered, maybe I should make sure I know what I'm talking about before offering suggestions.
