[DataGrid] Fix virtualization memory leak #12812

Closes #12006

Don't know what the root cause is but the devtools point at that function for the leak, applied a transformation similar to what is already in v7 where the leak doesn't exist. Not reproducible in a codesandbox, see the issue above for reproduction case.
