We haven't been able to reproduce the issue, but we do know it created a "Null" 
file
and wiped properties.

After HP crashed for searching "brandon buck", by coincidence or not, there was 
a
file called "null" in my project folder (where the db file resides), as well as 
the
hp.properties file was truncated.
