So I think the problem is this, and please correct me if I'm mistaken:
This font was released in 2016.
After that, in 2018, the Ulema of Indonesia decided to change the spelling of 180 words after studying the manuscripts carefully and taking the opinion of classical Ulema.
Here are the changes:
buku_penyempurnaan_penulisan_rasm_usmani_mushaf_standar_indonesia (1).pdf
These changes were not updated in this font. Instead, they made a new font "LPMQ Isep Misbah" which was made by Indonesian calligrapher Isep Misbah, and doesn't use Usman Taha's calligraphy.
I wonder if there is an updated version of this font that was released after 2018 that includes the new spelling?
Wa 'alaikumussalaam wa rahmatullaah wa barakaatuh. Thank you for that information, @meadows19
Assalamu Alaykum,
According to Standard Mushaf Indonesia, the spelling of "Imran" in Surah Aal Imraan, Ayah 33 and 35 should be without alif, and also in the last ayah of Surah Tahrim, it should be the same.
You can check here; https://quran.kemenag.go.id/surah/3 https://quran.kemenag.go.id/surah/66
But in this mushaf, the word "Imran" is spelled with the alif in Surah Aal Imran, and without the alif in Surah Tahrim.
I think this may be a mistake?
Also, please can you tell me the history of this Mushaf, was it approved and checked by the Lajnah Ulema, or was it only a draft work-in-progress?
JazakAllahu Khair.
