What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening the program
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should see a list of wifi cards after refreshing. No cards.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using the latest Fern on Ubuntu 11.10 Ocelot.

Please provide any additional information below.

I have tested out made sure the cards were up with ifconfig. I have all
dependencies installed. I have a sinking suspicion it is an Ubuntu and Aircrack
install location issue? It workes fine in BT5. I also have the same issue with
ghost-phish and ghost phish says airbase-ng is not installed when in fact it
is. Thanks for your time.

hi bro ;-).. you may have to link the aircrack binaries to the /usr/bin/
folder...

but you first need to locate the path where aircrack is installed,

you could use the --> locate aicrack-ng <-- command.

This will list the path where aircrack-ng binary can be found on the computer.

Then you can right click the files, create links from the binaries and copy
those links to the /usr/bin path.

Try this solution... Then give a feed back if they work or not ;-)

Hi! Thanks for the fast response. I looked up the installation and I did in
fact have the binary in /usr/bin/ for aircrack. I wonder what else it could be?
I have tested with 3 different wifi cards. I also have an issue finding the
wifi cards with ghost-phish.

Solved^^ I have to navigate to /usr/local/bin/Fern-Wifi-Cracker/ and then make
the execute.py executable then launch it from a command line. Go figure for
some reason when I did that it worked. I am running the latest ubuntu so who
knows. Thanks
