Won't connect to SSH 3.9p1 #291

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter the details for a server running OpenSSH_3.9p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7a
2. "Mount Failed" message

It will connect to a server running this: 
OpenSSH_4.1p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7g

I'm using this on OS X 10.5 via MacFUSION.
