the FAQ says how to write an option for OSX in com.apple.Finder but gives a read example. #307

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Show the mounted volume like it is described in the FAQ 4.2
2. do a: defaults read com.apple.Finder ShowMountedServersOnDesktop 1 to show 
the mounted 
drive
3. this should be something like: defaults write com.apple.Finder 
ShowMountedServersOnDesktop -
bool true

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Leopard 10.5.1
