Non active tab always resumes the twitch player (firefox) #47

Browser: Firefox 99.0.1 Extension: 5.4.1

Bug: Non active tab starts to play everytime Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a Twitch-Live-Stream of your choice
  2. Open a second tab of a streamer who is offline(You get his page with a small twitch player inside which autostarts a vod as soon as the tab is active)
  3. Pause the small twitch player on the second tab
  4. go back to the first tab with the active livestream and wait a couple of seconds

The twitch player on the second tab will always auto-resume the paused vod.

This only happens with ublock and this addon active

I'm having the same issue, both when paused on the same page and when paused and switching tabs.

With some quick testing it stops happening when I disable the extension in Chromium.

I've had the same problem on a different machine with the original extension + Chrome.

Version 101.0.4951.67 (Official Build, ungoogled-chromium) (64-bit) v5.4.0 of addon

Having the same issue but using the latest version of google chrome. it basically happens with all vods and I believe clips (exclude clips in the clips.twitch.tv site), so it's not just their "check out this last stream while streamer is offline" video.

I have a VOD open, then pause it and then I change tabs and it resumes playing.

Same problem here, still with the latest version of Videoadblockfortwitch. Paused vods/live streams automatically resume when changing the tab.

Is there a chance of a working fix or a workaround by now?
