Mullvad browser doesn't work without a VPN? (Solved) #101

Hey guys, when I disable my mullvad VPN from running on startup (ie. just not running), mullvad browser no longer is able to reach any websites, and I'm unsure why, I don't think there's a setting I toggled for this behaviour (although I may be mistaken) Does anyone know why / how to disable this behaviour? Thanks!

This is probably because you have the proxy activated.

The proxy only works when you're using Mullvad VPN. In that sense it can be used a "kill switch" and be sure that the traffic won't leak when the VPN is off.

I see, thank you very much, after disabling that in settings (setting DNS over HTTPS disabled) it worked
