and how would you do that? the browser is in private browsing mode and history is not retained - pretty sure it's memory only - so you would have start in normal mode and that has all sorts of issues, in which case just go use Firefox and a VPN

VPN's are insecure by design. I won't use any VPN. I want to use Mullvad Browser + I2P. As I2P seems to be significantly faster than Tor.

the VPN was just a suggestion - or use Firefox and I2P then. None of this has anything to do with retaining history.
If you want to retain history, get a browser that is not designed to not retain history by design
@Thorin-Oakenpants Firefox by itself is not fingerprint resistant.
Firefox by itself is not fingerprint resistant.
not actually true - it has FPP and RFP options which by definition resist fingerprinting
Anyway, that's not what you asked or have even mentioned so far. You asked if you could retain history - and I'm telling you that you can only do this in normal window mode, which is not what MB uses. So go ahead - disable starting in PB mode and .. wait for it ... alter your fingerprint defeating the entire purpose of what you just added as yet another excuse to argue
the answer is yes you can retain history in MB (change settings, go ahead, I won;t be telling you how) but then you defeat the purpose of using MB
As long as Mullvad Browser is in Private Browsing Mode by default, this will not be possible or supported.
Does enabling history saving impacts my privacy in any way?
