This is a good suggestion. I'll bring it up with the people working on the GUI
With v2022.2, the situation is much improved. Not quite the solution I suggested, but what has been implemented works quite well. The entire split tunneling feature can be toggled either on or off so all previously added apps set to use split tunneling can be easily enabled or disabled. If however one wants to toggle split tunneling on a per-app basis, it's still needed to scroll / search for that app as the recently split apps aren't listed at the top.
This + the ability to "forget" a recent app would be very helpful.

App version: 2022.1
Issue description
I often have to make specific apps temporarily use the split tunneling feature and so it would be convenient if the recently tunneled apps would be grouped at the top of the list before the rest are shown in their alphabetical order. This would save on having to scroll / search each time and instead simply click on the one of interest already in view.
