Split tunneling and voice chat (Overwatch) #4262

Operating system: Win 10 App version: Latest 2022.5

Without the VPN voice chat in Overwatch 2 works With the VPN voice chat in Overwatch 2 works With the VPN + Split tunneling with Overwatch 2 added does NOT work

I added Battle.net.exe, Overwatch.exe, Agent.exe to the split tunnel but something seems to be missing? I just cant figure out what. I've seen threads with similar issues for Valorant for example. The games works fine, its only the Voice chat in-game that does not seem to work.

Do you start mullvad on system start or after, if on boot close the app and start it again after windows is loaded and it should work fine, had the same issue with spotify and discord.

Dont use split tunnel if it can be avoided. If Mullvad works with the game after restart then you know where to look.

For me, this didn't help, but for now, I'm just running all of Overwatch through the Mullvad server... and actually getting BETTER latency and same interpolation delay when I AM connected to Mullvad (wireguard).

Without Mullvad VPN: Latency: 155 ms, IND: 54 ms. With Mullvad VPN (wireguard): Latency: 50 ms, IND: 55 ms.

I guess Mullvad servers has better peering than my ISP.

I have Mullvad servers in my hometown though, so your results may vary...

So has no one found a workaround/fix for this yet 😢

+1 on this. Voice Chat doesn't work if split tunneling is enabled.
