ubuntu 10.04 - all file access causes invalid parameter errors

What steps will reproduce the problem?
0. sudo dpkg -i <pkg>
1. gmount mp <me> (works fine)
2. ls -l mp (works fine)
3. try to open files:

$ wc ~/mp/IPv6.doc 
wc: /home/<me>/mp/IPv6.doc: Invalid argument

or open folder from desktop with nautilus and click .doc file to open:

open with Open Office 3.2: The operation on IPv6.doc was started with an 
invalid parameter.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
google-docs-fs-1.0rc1_all.deb
Ubuntu 10.04.1

Cheers, I'll mark this appropriately. The GData Python Client developers have 
marked the issue as fixed on their side, so hopefully a new release of the 
client will solve this issue.
