ADW update yeilds incorrect text line lengths for pure calendar agenda, maybe other widgets

The problem is very simple. The recent update slightly reduced the size of 
widgets (presumably to accomodate the new resizing functionality). Now, widgets 
like Pure calendar try to put more characters than will fit in a single line. A 
typical line might have looked like:

Create task graphic for BrainPunchy - put in slid...

Now it wraps like this:

Create task graphic for BrainPunchy - put in slid.
..

This should be a defect report. I don't see how to change that...
