Currently installed version of ReadtheDocs has problems with unordered lists. The issue is known (https://github.com/readthedocs/sphinx_rtd_theme/issues/1115). Can not get it to work by pinning docutils to version 0.16. Rendering within jupyter notebooks is correct.
