If anyone is asking why I've used a timer to fix the problem, turns out the showCurrentBrowser() function contains a currentBrowser.prepareSearch() statement which includes a setTimer that delays the updating process to a specific timing, which I suppose it's the reason why calling closing and showing functions will be useless without another timer.
