7 years ago Here's mine and we can combine/prioritize them later:
- [x] In parole hearings item, "inmate" appears a lot of times. "If yes" clause could read "You have the right to attend if..."
- [x] PV hearings: describe what happens when you call the PO as "The PO will conduct an investigation" (don't say "determine if there's been a violation" because it seems skeptical of the V's account)
- [x] Swap 911 phrases to read like "If you are in danger, call 911"
Needs design:
- [ ] FAQs seem to cover pre-conviction even though the site claims to be "post-conviction" only
- [ ] "Questions about" repetition in menu (not TIC?)
Here are the ones about restraining order/protective order section in specific:
May be better to tell a story of "protection". What is a protective order? What's the difference between restraining and no-contact orders? What if either order is being violated? How can I drop the restraining order?
- [ ] Break out the "How do I get a restraining order?" faq into a bunch of sub-FAQs: background, violations, dropping a restraining order
- [ ] Better description of the options of how to get a restraining order
- [ ] Find a good link for getting a R.O. through a non-gateway center source.
- [ ] Investigate whether the GW center only does intimate partner violence restraining orders or if you can go there for whatever
- [ ] In prison/jail section, write an FAQ item about no-contact orders
