Copying to clipboard fails after a long runtime (about 25 days) #3730

A user on my Mumble server has two laptops which run different versions of Linux (Xubuntu 16.05 and Debian 10 respectively).

She has them running day and night for very long times (the one I was checking, the Xubuntu one has an uptime of 77 days right now).

After about 25 days of runtime the Mumble client looses its ability to copy text into the clipboard.

The menu item in the context menu is not grayed out, so I can still click it, but the text does not appear in the clipboard. I can neither paste it to a second instance of Mumble nor to any other program. It behaves like the copy operation did not happen at all.

Pasting from a different application (i. e. xfce4-terminal) still works fine.

The Mumble version is 1.3.0-rc1 on that system at the moment, but the problem is not new. It was present in older 1.3 builds as well.

I have absolutely no idea on how to debug this. Any one any ideas?

PS: The connection time to the server is 4 days, but I think the error has more to do with runtime than with connection time.
