I recently attempted to use Mumble 1.4.230 as downloaded from the "downloads" page.
After installing mumble_client-1.4.230.x64 I attempted to connect to some servers using the Mumble URLs the associated groups had put together. However, it appears that a handler may not have been created or registered with Windows 10 for the mumble:// protocol.
After removing Mumble 1.4.230 and installing Mumble 1.3.3, the Mumble URLs worked again.
This may be a known issue already, but I did search for a couple of terms including "handler".
Steps to reproduce
Install Mumble 1.4.230
Open a browser window containing a link to a Mumble URL
Click on the Mumble URL
Expected behavior: Browser asks if I wish to "Open Mumble - Low-latency VoIP client"
Actual behavior: Nothing happens.
Uninstall 1.4.230 and install 1.3.3
Click on the Mumble URL
Expected behavior occurs and browser hands off to Windows 10.
Hypothesis: Fresh installs of 1.4.230 may not be registering / implementing a handler.
