1 year ago I doubt you are going to find a company willing to pay you for this. If a company is big enough to afford it, they would probably just fork it, and do it themselves. You also haven't thrown out any numbers of your expectations.
I think a more reasonable solution would be donations, or Pateron, aka recurring. I think you are more likely to get many people to pay a little, but not one company to pay a lot.
I really want to use this project, but consider the lack of proper support for ARM Macs a big enough blocker to avoid starting. The project is of marginal use, and not enough that I also won't maintain it myself.
Edit: I see you have setup GitHub Sponsors with a goal, and it is more the recurring model. This is good. But I would say given you are at 70%, you have a chicken and the egg problem. Many people won't commit till they see the project come back to life.
I would also keep the conversation going here, giving updates, and showing signs of life.
I see some issues in this project like there's no automated test to ensure that we don't break anything while developing it, and shoal/go-fish needs to be replaced with something else because go-fish seems to be deprecated(?).
However, I don't have time to spend on this project today, as none of my employers are using this, and I need more time to keep learning new things while maintaining my earnings in this challenging period.
