I think Ctrl-D should throw a QuitException instead of NPE

I'll close this for now since the change will end up being somewhere else, but don't take that to mean I'm not interested in you helping me fix this. :)

No worries, man - just something that I ran into that looked like it might be a quick fix, thought I'd toss it out there. :)
