Run Beetle Adventure Racing with two controllers 'plugged' into the emulator
Start a Two Player race
Once the cars start moving, observe the sound output.
Result: I hear intermittent (but beginning right away) cracking in the audio. It isn't like the mute of the audio letting the video catch up (pretty sure I'm running full speed). It's different; more like a cracking From observation, it sounds to me as though one ear is playing a really low sound where the other is playing a higher pitched noisy sound reminiscent of a cat hissing in disgust.

System: Debian 9 (testing) Linux kernel 4.1 Intel i5 with HD4000 graphics, using Mesa Using mupen64plus-audio-sdl along with the rest of the emulator fetched from https://github.com/mupen64plus/mupen64plus-audio-sdl.git
I've tried fiddling around with the settings but couldn't change the behaviour. I can provide logs or other information, just let me know what it is.
