Hi there,

I'm sorry, I'd like to know if anyone of you has suffered from this issue or know what the way to fix it is.

When I use glide the floor textures and some shadows flicks as you can see here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/01i0nvjvw0uqd6j/glide64-flick.ogv?dl=0

When I use rice the goomba character looks with a little grey line in the middle along its body. https://www.dropbox.com/s/n5d20afwm6avx71/rice-glitch.ogv?dl=0

I've suffered from this in Linux Mint 17.3 (based on Ubuntu 14.04) using my intel graphics HD integrated with my i5 CPU and using the Cinnamon desktop enviroment.

But now, I made a fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 and I bought the gigabyte gtx 750 ti 2GB OC and the issue is still there. I'm using the nvidia propietary graphic driver and I tried it under Cinnamon and also under XFCE with making enable and disable the compossiting efffects.

This is other info I can share about my computer, I hope it helps.

Maybe this info helps.

If I disable mipmapping using the Rice plugin then the goomba character looks ok, but I think mipmapping should be enable, right?. There's another thing I noticed even with mipmapping enable on Rice, when I enter in the first Bowser's room, the painting always shows Bowser.

So far I found another way to play Super Mario 64 that is working pretty well, it consists on playing Super Mario through Wii Virtual Console using some Wii emulator (I used Dolphin)
