mupen64plus crashes after working fine yesterday (RetroArch) #720

I enjoyed some Pokémon Snap yesterday on my newly-updated RetroArch 1.8.2, but after shutting down my PC for the night and returning the following morning, mupen64plus refuses to work.

I did change some video settings while I played Pokémon Snap which did not seem to take effect while I was playing, so they could be at fault. I found them in the quick menu, but I do not know how to access it if the game crashes immediately.

ParaLLEl works just fine, for the record. But I just like mupen better.

GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB CPU: Intel i7-7700K @ 4.20GHz

The actual crash, from what I can tell (line 600), looks like this:
