This is first time I heard of it. I do not use Windows personally but the machines I use for compiling, have MS Security Essentials and Some version of McAfee and the binary is clean. If you find more info, please post the findings.
Thanks.
I know your executable is clean (virustotal.com show 0/58 detection rate) but this made my day a nightmare searching for possible infections of my computers just to be sure.
Anyway, here's the answer i got from Kaspersky:
RE: [VirLabSRF][Malware false positive][M:1][LN:en][L:0] [KLAN-2338803371]
Hello,
Sorry, it was a false detection. It will be fixed in the next update.
Thank you for your help.

Thanks for taking care of it. I appreciate it.
Hello,
For whatever reason, the mailsend.exe that is in the bins directory of this repo is seen by Kaspersky KSN as Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.aapli I've submitted that file to Kaspersky as false positive. Meanwhile, the packages i make including this version of mailsend.exe are detected too. Do you know anything more about this maybe ?
Regards.
