Did you enable the "Allow other computers to connect" for the Event Server?

like a settings issue.

You are totally right, that was a complete user error moment. Now if only I can
figure out why the vibrate keeps on happening with the remote even though the
option
is turned off.

Try enabling and disabling the setting.

Yeah since event server is one-way only we can't check if it worked (it's a
connection-less protocol additionally). Just be sure event server is enabled and
"allow connection from other computers" is active.

Hi till.essers, you are right, once I enabled the vibrate and then disabled it
the
remote stopped vibrating on touch.
