Libary items not displaying correctly #5

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add libary to sources in XBMC
2. Browse to libary in the app
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of the libary items (songs/artists/albums etc) you see numbers that
(i guess) represent them

I'll check this in a minute. However, you'll be able to browse the libraries
directly
soon without having to add them as source (didn't even know that was possible).

Okay can you describe how exactly did you add the library as source? I can't
reproduce
your problem otherwise.

I edited the Sources.xml and added:

    <source>
            <name>Library</name>
            <path>videodb://</path>
        </source>

to the video source and

        </source>
            <source>
            <name>Library</name>
            <path >musicdb://</path>
        </source>

to the music sources ^^ works like a charm through the normal web interface.

Seems to be an XBMC issue. Will decide later if we're going to fix it on our
side by
implementing a proper library view or wait until the issue is resolved on
XBMC's side.

OK if i close this? New library view does get the items directly via SQL and
not the
file system.

Should work on any XBMC platform solong the database version (aka XBMC version)
is up
to date.
