Travel Compensation Pricing

Within 20 minutes of Sandpoint, ID: No transportation fee

• No transportation fee for locations in Sandpoint, Ponderay, Kootenai, Dover, northern parts of Sagle.

20 minutes out of town or more: $1.50/mile, one way

• Service in Sagle, Bonner's Ferry, Priest River, Hope, Clark Fork, Newport, CDA, Spokane, Priest Lake.

• example: Rapid Lightning Road, 21 minutes from town, 14 miles, $21 travel fee

• example: Garfield Bay, 25 minutes/14 miles: $21 travel fee

• example: Priest River: 26 minutes/22 miles: $33 travel fee

• example: Rathdrum: 44 minutes/41 miles: $61.50 travel fee

• example: Troy, MT: 1h 13 minutes, 66 miles , $99 travel fee

• example: Spokane, WA: 1h 20 minutes/72 miles: $108 travel fee

For service in Spokane and CDA, in some cases there will be an additional fee for my flight, due to the controlled airspace which causes additional steps for me to complete for my flight in compliance with the law. I will inform you based on your address the status on the airspace and I will let you know details and how it might affect my flight (Applies to CDA and Spokane only)

Travel Compensation Pricing

• 20 minutes out of town or more: $1.50/mile, one way

Drone Mission Pricing

• I am a commercially licensed and registered Drone Pilot.

I have 3 batteries, each of which lasts 34 minutes.

• I charge "by the battery" for my services. To exhaust all 3 batteries will cost $200. For me to "get some quick shots" I will fly until my first battery dies, that will cost $80. Adding an additional half hour will be $80, and the third is half-off, $40. I can provide drone photography services for as little as $80.

I recommend that on any shoot we use all 3 of my batteries. Total, I would fly roughly 90 minutes to capture dozens of photos. Between each battery I will review the images and be able to make immediate improvements to the shots. Using three batteries gives you two opportunities to review these photos with me immediately before I fly again, giving us a great system to be precise about the photos we truly want.

SUMMER BOATING DISCOUNT: Transportation costs will be waived for finished lakeside properties on Lake Pend Orielle with private docks - if you can arrange for a boat at Sandpoint City Beach to take me to the property and then boat me back when I'm done flying. If your property does not have a dock which would require me to liftoff and land from your boat, contact me about special pricing - I can legally operate my drone from your boat, but I will require additional fees and a deposit. Properties on the southern side of the lake can be two hours by car, or twenty minutes by boat.
