There is an old script at https://github.com/dufferzafar/Userscripts/blob/master/MB-Import-From-iTunes.user.js that may be worth having a look at to make something that works for the current iTunes.

It would be nice to have apple music imports too. No idea how related they are though.

... Or maybe they're the same thing, since that script works on apple music.
