Some minor color oddities #1256

The following minor issues have been bugging me for some time:

Current part color Toolbar icon

There is a toolbar element, whose tooltip says Current part color. In can be enabled by the ☑ Part Colors option of the right-button-menu of a toolbar.

The thing is, this element neither shows nor sets the current part color. It sets the part color for future parts. I suppose this is the intended behavior. In that case the tooltip should be changed to something like Default part color. As long as ☑ Part Colors enables just this one element, you may want to change it as well.

Selected Parts

I can set the background for selected tracks, but selected parts are always shown with a black background. Is there a way to change this?

In the Appearance settings I can set two foreground colors for Midi events for dark and light backgrounds respectively. However for the wave graph there is only one foreground color. Hence, I can make sure the "inside" of a part is shown with sufficient contrast only for midi parts.

Apply in Appearance settings

Color settings take effect immediately, but Global opacity changes require pressing the Apply button.

3D appearance of tracks

Is there a way to get a flat look for tracks and parts, or at least make them appear less curved. While I'm not a fan of material design, this 3D look is a bit too old fashioned even for my taste.

3D appearance of tracks

Found how to make things appear more flat: in Appearance.. / Themes / Track gradient strength, I can reduce the 3D appearance. There is also a setting for Part gradient strength.
