Looping bounds ignored when selecting a measure after defining looping region #12875

Open DmitryArefiev opened 2 years ago

Description Copied from https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/14917:

Open a score with multiple measures. Select several contiguous measures Click the loop playback button in the toolbar to define a looping region. Press play. The playback will correctly loop within the region you have defined. Click another measure while playback is engaged. Now the playhead jumps to the selected measure and ignores the looping boundaries. Even pressing stop and starting play again does not return you to the previously defined looping area.

Platform information Windows10

Additional context Doesn't occur in MU3

Just want to add for future reference that the loop remains set. Looping doesn't occur when playing with a selection in general (which, unlike in MS3, makes the selected instruments play in solo) So the goal here is to allow looping with a selection. (feature request?)
