[MU4 Issue] Time and measure counters continue to run after end of piece (for 3 seconds) #13683

Open rgreen5 opened 2 years ago

rgreen5 commented 2 years ago

Describe the bug

Even when the piece has ended on the score page, the time and measure counters continue to run for another measure or so.

There are also problems at the end of the score when you add a tempo mark at the beginning.

To Reproduce

  1. Open the short example score and play it through. playback_issue.zip

RESULT: When the playback cursor has reached the end of the score and audio playback has finished, the time and measure counters are still running and do so for another 7 beats.

  1. Add a tempo mark from the palette (not shortcut as there is a bug – see #13662).
  2. Play back again.

RESULT: Playback continues for a while after the end of the score is reached, and the time and measure counters continue to run.

Expected behavior

Playback and the time and measure counters stop at the end of the score.

Platform information

OS: Linux Mint 20.1, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0-3216906122, revision: github-musescore-musescore-eb51740

Infinite playback also accours on new empty score.

Another example in the attached file. The extra notes occur in the apparently empty last measure. [Uploading notes_repeated.zip…]()

I also notice if the piece if meant to end with a Fine, the playback cursor continue running right past it, although the sound stops correctly. For example,m enter a score like this:

Weirder and weird things happen if you edit the score; I'm hearing remnants of measures already deleted. And if I change the tempo of the score, the phantom notes are at the old tempo.

The issue is probably related to adding 3sec to the end of audio file when Export audio (fix for #12747). Of course it should not happen when playback score.
