Hello,

How often does this happen? This happens with all score and more often in play mode.

Does it only happen with certain scores? All Score

In windowed Musescore this doesn't seem to be happening. But in full screen, it often happens. Maybe an object is resized by mistake and causes this window shake.

mccoydtromb commented 1 year ago

I just got this (on the Beta, sorry if that's not terribly useful). Also using full screen, happened about 30 seconds after MU4 loaded up and I started playing the score. But next time I closed and opened again, no problem.

Gai-Luron commented 1 year ago

found where the problem is and it's not MuseScore, although it only does it with fullscreen MuseScore. This is Pcloud Drive my cloud hosting. I am attaching a video that I also sent to the Pcloud team. Maybe you can do something anyway because MuseScore is the only full-screen app that shakes. Thanks Robert

A workaroud for the user who have a Pcloud Account is to disable "Show file status icon" in Pcloud's App Parameters

@Gai-Luron Is the conclusion that this is caused by another app and not MuseScore's fault, so that this issue can be closed? Or does it happen only in MuseScore and not with other full-screen apps?

Gai-Luron commented 1 year ago

This only happens with fullscreen MuseScore and it caused by Pcloud, my cloud application. . This doesn't happen with all my other apps when I set them to full screen. At this time, there is also flickering on the desktop icons. It is in all cases during the refresh of the icons and the overlay that pcloud does to indicate the status of each file. Is it worth looking for a solution as this only happens to Pcloud users? And then there is a workaround to avoid this

cbjeukendrup commented 1 year ago

Since this seems a somewhat niche issue, we will probably not be able to dedicate a lot of time to this. However, let's leave it open for now, and maybe we'll find a solution someday.

Yes, goog idea. Thank's a lot.
