FWIW, it works normally for me on Linux, US QWERTY keyboard, using the standard number row (I don't have a numeric keypad).
@Eism I think I've honed-in on the problem. It affects me when my keyboard layout is set to QWERTZ (German). If I change my layout to a US one, the problem is not reproducible.
FWIW there is, as far as I can tell, nothing unusual about the number 7 key on a QWERTZ keyboard, and the fact that all the other Shift+number keys work seems to suggest something a bit buggy and unusual, but I have no idea what.
I'll update the issue description accordingly.
On advice from @Eism, we're going to have to move this to Post Release
Same on my machine: All other shortcuts for choosing tab note duration (Shift+1 through Shift+6) do work for me, only Shift+7 does not. I as well have a German QWERTZ-keyboard. It might just be a coincidence, but we are using musesocre on a Mac.
system details: OS: macOS 12.5, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0-223362133, revision: github-musescore-musescore-d050fb0
None of the shift+number keyboard shortcuts work for me, my keyboard layout is GSW
Describe the bug The shortcut
Shift
+7
is no longer triggering the semibreve (whole note) duration when entering notes on a tablature stave using a QWERTZ keyboard layout. This is despite the fact that the shortcut is actually defined in the Preferences dialog:To Reproduce See demo video:

Expected behavior
Shift
+7
should trigger the semibreve (whole) note duration on tablature staves.Platform information
