Hi @Skragarooroo! I can't reproduce this issue. Are you using Muse Sounds or MS Basic soundfont when hear audio issues? And, please, provide info about your computer (specs and OS)
Could you try increasing the buffer size in Preferences > IO to see if that helps?
Increasing the buffer did not do anything to fix the crackling.
My specs are: OS: Windows 10
CPU: I7 6700k GPU: RX 480 RAM: 2x Corsair 2133mhz 8Gb (16Gb) Storage: Kingston 500-ish Gb SSD + 2TB seagate HDD MB: Asus z170-E
Audio interfaces: AXE FX II XL+ & Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 going into Voicemeeter Potato (VB-audio software mixer/interface)
@Skragarooroo Thanks! Would be good to play with combinations of Fractal, Focusrite and Voicemeeter. But first try to reproduce with all them disconnected
I've now spent the last 20 minutes trying every possible permutation that I could think of with different soundcards plugged in/out and none seem to make the problem go away.
Then, would be great if someone with Win 10 tried to reproduce this issue
I reproduced on the current master on Windows 11. Pops/crackles are pretty subtle, need to listen closely (I'm using headphones)

I hear the cracks/pops with Muse Sounds, not MS Basic
The playback of the Muse Sounds Choir instruments sometimes makes crackles/pops in weird but reproducable places.
I've marked the places where these crackles occur in the image below.
I've tried to change the dynamics to see if anything would change but crackles/pops still occurred.
