Playback range of Ob. d'a #17114

General playback bug

Bug description

Playback range of oboe d'amore is limited to concert A#3, but amateur range is down to G#3.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Select instrument oboe d'amore.
  2. Write a note below concert A#3.
  3. Press play

I imagine you're using Muse Sounds, which doesn't have any Oboe d'amore samples so it defaults to a normal Oboe, that would be the reason you're getting the weird range...

Workaround?

  • Use the English Horn sounds
  • Use MS Basic or other soundfont
  • Use a VST
