Note that the half note with the trill in measures 5 and 6 in the video has the Play property unchecked, that's part of my workaround for slow tempo trills. And then I write out the trill in a separate playback staff just like how you see it in the video, either triplets or otherwise short notes alternating back and forth to get to that trill sweet spot.
And Trill playback is completely unusable, when a soundfont is selected. Then it doesn't stop trilling forever until MuseScore4 is "killed"!!
Issue type
Muse Sounds bug
Bug description
I've come across trills at slow tempos a lot. From 60 BPM to the quarter upwards, it's okay, but once you get to tempos at 50 BPM or lower, trills become just way too slow. In my opinion anyway. As a pianist, my trill speed is pretty much constant save for the occasional trill at Presto. I might slow it down a bit towards the end of the trill or at a slow tempo, but not nearly to the degree that Muse Sounds does it. In Muse Sounds, it gets so slow that it starts not sounding like a trill anymore, but like sixteenth notes instead.
