Usable pitch range #22851

Open Magnus26 opened 3 months ago

Issue type

UI bug (incorrect info or interface appearance)

Bug description

In "Staff/Part properties

In the "Staff/Part properties" dialog, when editing notes in the "Usable pitch range" section, the note shown in the dialog window (opened using the pen button) should match the note displayed in the text box.

This appears to only be a problem for the second box (the top range of the Amateur section).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open "Staff/Part properties" (right-click on a staff to find the option)
  2. In "Usable pitch range", make note of which pitches are the upper limits of Amateur and Professional
    • i.e. For trumpet, Amateur is G#5 and Professional is C#6
  3. Click the pen icon next to the top note of the Amateur range
  4. See that the grid displays the Professional top note instead of the Amateur top note
    • i.e. For trumpet, the grid displays C#6 when it should display G#5

It looks like specifically when clicking the pen icon for the top note of the Amateur range, the note grid has the top note of the professional range visually selected. It's just displaying the wrong note. Will edit with video later.
