When changing the tied notes to any other voice, the ties fail (i.e. they are not aligned in accordance with the direction of the stem), and after saving /closing the score and opening it again, they disappear altogether.
Steps to reproduce
Enter the tied notes
Change the notes you entered from the 1st voice to the 2nd
You will see that the positions of the ties are broken
Save and close the score
Open the score you just saved and closed
You will see that the ties have disappeared altogether.
