New Score - Select Instrument family - selection UX regression

Description with steps to reproduce

1. In New score window, "Choose Instruments" search for something then cick on a family
2. The family you clicked on is not selected

In the video:

1. Search for "Pe"
2. Click "Percussion - Unpitched" family on the left
3. Woodwinds is selected

What is the latest version of MuseScore Studio where this issue is present?

master: OS: macOS 14.4, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.4.0-241930302, revision: github-musescore-musescore-1efba9e

Yes, this used to work in a previous version of MuseScore 4.x

In 4.1.1, this works as expected, in 4.2.0 it does not

Template window behaves in a similar way The appropriate templates are visible on the right but it looks like the wrong category is selected on the left (Always "General"
