Chord Symbol Position

Your idea

Working with a lot of Piano + Vocal Scores, I'm bugged by the fact that Chord Sybols belong to the Piano Part but should be displayed above the Vocal Part (just on top of the score).

I have not encountered any good solution for that.

My suggestion would be: just give Chord Symbols the options to be displayed:

• above/below the staff
• above below the group (e.g. marked by a clef)
• above below the score

Another proper way to integrate this would be a separate Chord Track/Staff that be be dragged wherever I want in the Instrument's Panel.

Problem to be solved

Chord Symbols do not display in the same way as published sheet music handles this by default

May be another option would be to be able make chord symbols "system text" and in part score have option to show, or not to show them.
