It is great that MuseScore now reads out with a screen reader the displayed (print) measure number as well as the actual (status) measure. However, many people are finding this verbose and would love a way to toggle options with a shortcut key. Ideally a toggle would cycle between displayed measure, status measure, and both. This would allow screen reader users to choose what they need to hear for the task they are working on without having to wait to hear both if they only need one or the other.
Problem to be solved
Remove verbosity that slows down use by screen readers.
