Suppress playback first measure 0

Your idea

When I press 'Play' it silently moves over the incipit bar for four beats. Can we have an option to suppress that so that it begins on measure 2 = displayed measure 1?

Click on measure 2 before 'Play'? Also, please see the topic #16723.

A better way to solve this, might be to add real support for incipits, perhaps with an explicit option to include or exclude them from playback.

16723 has lots of ideas all right. I can click on measure 2 but was hoping it could be more transparent if on musescore.com .

Maybe by adding a start flag not deletable on musecore.com different from the repeat flags to say "start here".

Try adding an invisible volta and change the repeatlist to something that doesn't get hit (such as "0") to have playback skip it.

@jeetee interesting. I added a Volta 1, set the repeatlist to 0, and upon 'Play', it begins two measures before the end and then goes back to M 1.
